He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paynter and Clara Paynter (Wells); and his siblings, Malcom Paynter (Janet), Clarence Paynter, Chester Paynter, Marion Paynter, Stanley Paynter, Ronnie Paynter (Darlene), Joann McGee (John), Barbara Dennis (Arnold) and Mary Lou Carroll (Ralph).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Paynter; his children, Matthew Paynter (Paula), Michael Paynter and Deanna Paynter; his sister Patty Durden (Frank); and his sisters-in-law, Jeannie Paynter, Judy Paynter and Janet Paynter. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
