It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Owens of Middletown, Ohio, born in Jackson, Kentucky, who passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Berry and Doris Jean Barrett Sr. (Gilespie); her husband Lester V. Owens Jr.; and her siblings, Betty Jean Rose, Brenda Pritchard and Bernard Barrett.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Hammond (Robert) of Middletown, Carrie Miller (Tom) of Middletown, Lester Vernon Owens III (Nicole) of Middletown and Lonnie Jay Owens of Middletown; her grandchildren, Ashley Owens of Robert Fisher, III, Hillary Hammond, Robert Hammond Jr., Lydia Owens and Damien Howard; her great grandchildren, Ryker Jones, Rose Zarecky and Andrew Zarecky; and her siblings, Berry Barrett Jr. (Marlene) of Middletown, Bonnie Pitts (Ted) of Middletown, Hilda Jarvis (Joe) of Middletown, Barbara Tayor of Middletown and Missy Whitt (Michael) of Middletown.
