It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Naomi Ruth Martz of Middletown, Ohio, born in Hazel Green, Kentucky, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howard and Sarah Jane Tibbs (O'hair); her former husband William T. Porterfield; her son James Kent Porterfield; her brother Elbert Mason Tibbs; her brother-in-law Charles Brewer; her son Mark Martz; and her grandson Bryan Martz.
She is survived by: her husband James Martz; her children, Carol Sue Plunkett (Mark), Rena Kay Auvil, Melinda Huf (Hans), Steve Martz and Robin Martz; her siblings, Howard Tibbs Jr. and Carol Jean Brewer; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
