He was predeceased by: his parents, Orbie Wells and Sarah Wells (Mobley); his wife Dorothy Wells; his grandson Ronnie Gibbs; and his son-in-law Scott Taulbee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Baker (Andrew), Penny Moore, Tammy Gibbs (Dennis), Teresa Pennington (Tom), Thelma Mobley (Scott) and Lois Turner (Billy); his siblings, Donald Wells (Mary), Robert Wells (Barbara), Anthony Wells (Marsha), Steve Wells (Sue), Pat Mahan (Gary), Debbie Davis (A. C.) and Peggy Wilson (Doug); and his grandchildren, Donnie, Amber, Jasmine, Dennis, Tawni, Kyler, Scotty, Adam, Jacob, Sammy and Joey. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
