He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Gordon and Sally Edith Pennington (Marcum); his brother Richard Pennington; and his close friend Chaney Bishop. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Bishop, Shane Bishop and Frankie Bishop; his grandchildren, Billy Fugate, David Vest, Leah Vest and Bradley Hatton; and his siblings, Deanna Mae Garvin, Robert Pennington and David Pennington. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
