He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob E. Howerton and Margaret "Peggy" Hall Howerton; and his half-siblings, William, Edward Howerton and Barbara Howerton.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Howerton; his daughters, Erin Roseberry (Shane), Staci Spencer (Jeremy Williams) and April Hunter; his brother Brian Howerton (Gina); and his half-sister Jane Howerton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
