He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mehl and Mary Mehl (Morgan); and his brother Timothy Mehl. He is survived by: his wife Karen Mehl (Grobe); his sister Nancy Strauss; his niece Leslie Strauss; and his nephews, Dale Strauss II, Michael Strauss (Elizabeth) and Adam Strauss.
