He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Gilmore Paxton; his brother Ronnie Paxton; his nephew Ricci Myers; his mother Juanita Kesterson; his stepfather Carl Kesterson; his daughters, Yalonda Paxton, Tiffany Paxton, Brittany Paxton and Aly Roberts; his significant other Joni Lawson; his siblings, Linda Haddix, Bobby Kesterson and Billy Kesterson; and his nieces, Karri McKamey and Traci Freels. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
