She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shepherd and Ethel Shepherd (Thorpe); her son David Allen Abrams; and her siblings, Benny, Robert and Jeanette.
She is survived by: her husband Ivory Abrams; her children, Mark Anthony Abrams, Tracy Plowman (Eddie) and Shelley Smith (Eric); and her siblings, Sherman Shepherd (Patty), Johnny Shepherd, Bessie Townsend, Betty Edward Fancher, Phyllis Shepherd and Ella Wells (Lowell). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
