She was predeceased by: her parents, William D. Carter and Hortense Williams (Wilburn); and her grandparents, Ozie and Inell McCord. She is survived by: her children, Brian Carter (Alexis) of Wilmington, Diana Adams of Wilmington, Centerius Carter (Les) of Middletown and Jennasera Brooks of Middletown; her grandchildren, Kallaja Carter and Kyreme Adams; and her siblings, Sharmaine Milliner of Michigan, Angel Carmichael of Dayton and Deloris Williams of Dayton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
