He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlie DeBoard and Malissie DeBoard (Slone); his wife Kathrine DeBoard (Wagner); his daughters, April DeBoard and Teri Simpson; and his siblings, Ralph DeBoard, Kenneth DeBoard and Berdella Arnett.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce DeBoard, Lisa Johnson (Darla), Wiley and Tami Arnold (Tom); his grandchildren, Erin, Erica, Chris, Tyler, Nick, Brandon, Heather and Austin; and his brother Don DeBoard (Carmen). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
