He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Sheffey and Virginia Sheffey; and his brother Barton Sheffey. He is survived by: his close friend Marilee; his son Rolf Sheffey (Sandra); and his grandchildren, Jacob Kirby-Sheffey and David Sheffey (Shelley). He is also survived by many extended family, students and friends.
