He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth C. Simpkins; and his sisters, Joy L. Van Fleet, Gloria M. Bennett and Lydia Simpkins. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Lee, Amy Westveer and Lisa Wessling; and his sister Rose Holt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
