He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Hoffer and Ilva Hoffer; and his siblings, Joann, Arlene and Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Gretchen, Matthew and Jennifer; his siblings, Philip Hoffer and Marjorie Piwowar; his grandchildren, Lauren Schober (Hans), Joel Densic (Abby), Jessica Densic, Sam, Nate Heinze, Alexandra and Isaac Hoffer; and his great grandchildren, Julia and Jonathan Schober.
Memorial Contributions may be offered in Calvin's name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Parkinson's Foundation.
