He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Riggs and Thelma Riggs (Rose). He is survived by: his son Jonathon Riggs; and his sister Linda Etheron. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; several aunts and one nephew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home (266 N Main St, Magnolia, OH 44643). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Palm Memorial Garden (9051 Appalachian Hwy, Matheny, WV 24860).
