He is survived by: his spouse Jayati Gupta Rakhit; his children, Mitali and Rohit; his siblings, Sanhita, Ashok and Anup; his siblings-in-law, Anjan, Ashoke, Monica, Bandana and Soma; and his siblings' children, Ayon, Antara, Esha, Sharmili, Rahul, Ankush, Reema and Ria.
