With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jeanne Beckley of Mount Vernon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Betty Jeanne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty Jeanne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Burke and Grace Burke (Mills); and her husband William C. Beckley. She is survived by: her son William Beckley (Victoria). She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mound View Cemetery (307 Wooster Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050).
