It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret A. McDannel of Marion, Ohio, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret A. McDannel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Myers and Velma M. Myers (Struble); her husband Richard E. "Dick" McDannel; and her brother-in-law Eugene "Gene" Rife. She is survived by: her friends, Peg and Mee Mee; her daughter Jennifer L. Adams (Barry); her grandchildren, Jordan Adams (Emily) and Bryce Adams (Sara); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Eleanor, Isabelle, Mitchell and Lucy; and her siblings, Frank Myers (Shirley) and Mary Rife. She is also survived by her family, cheering on her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel (360 E Center St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to VFW Post 7201 or Tranquility Hospice.
