She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Emily McAdams Thompson and Harry Preston Thompson; her husband Michael Hutchens; her daughter Svea Emerson; her grandson James Bowling; her half-sister Edna Thombs; and her brother Walter Swingle.
She is survived by: her daughter Christina; her son-in-law Jim Bowling of Fairfield, Ohio; her granddaughters, Jilian Dickson (Derek) and Jessica Bowling; and her son-in-law Mark Emerson (Carol) of Middletown, Ohio. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
