He is survived by: his wife Denise Hankins (Beach); his son Patrick Strunk; his stepson Zachary Brammer; and his siblings, Geoffrey Hatten, Robert Denig and Ginah Shaw (Chris). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
