He was predeceased by: his parent Tony Stoncel; and his siblings, Robert, Louis, Albert Stoncel, Agnes Spurges, Frances Bendervich and Emma Mitchell.

He is survived by: his parent Bertha Frantz Stoncel; his wife Stella Balabin Stoncel of The Laurels; his close friends, Donnie and Teri Cook of Murray City; and his sister-in-law Helen Ianotti of Detriot. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
