He is survived by: his spouse Sandra K. Welstead; his son Mark Lindberg (Zella) of Akron; his grandchildren, Isaac Lindberg and Ziva Lindberg; his stepsister Jeanne Smolarek (David) of Arizona; and his sibling's children, Tamie Thurman (Rick), Ken Lindberg (Lena) and Sam Smolarek.
