He is survived by: his parents, Melvin Rayoum Jr. and Amanda Curtis; his siblings, Melvin III, Brandon (Nykoma), Christian, Thomas, Kayla and Taylor; his grandparents, Jo, Pat Ramlow, Steve Curtis, Melvin Rayoum Sr. and Sheila Rayoum; and his siblings' children, Melvin IV, Brodyn, Braydon, Xander, Klaus and Nevaeh. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Memorials in Owens memory may be considered to the American Cancer Society.
