He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael R. Tanner and Amelia Monsour Tanner; his brothers, Richard M. Tanner and Robert M. Tanner; and his nephews, Deputy Robert M. Tanner Jr. and Mark S. Thompson.
He is survived by : his sisters, Jan Tanner Thompson (Ron) of Zanesville and Sharon L. Tanner of Zanesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
