As we bid Mary Jo farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Jo is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kisela and Mary Kisela; and her son John Joseph Purney. She is survived by: her husband John E. Purney; her children, Terri Purney and Richard Purney (Diane); her grandson Nathan Johnson; her great grandchild Tytan; and her brother Michael Kisela.
