We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2021, at the age of 59, Donald Platt Sr. of Nelsonville, Ohio, born in Athens, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Platt Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Norma Maffin Clemons and Donald L. Platt; and his siblings, Tammy Sheets, Lewis "Duke" Maffin and Josephine Maffin.

He is survived by : his children, Donald Platt Jr. (Tiffany) of Nelsonville, Beth Perry of Nelsonville, Amy Perry of Nelsonville and Stephanie Conner; his grandchildren, Mason Platt, Landon Platt, Joseph Clark, Michala Clark and Cauley Trout; his great grandchildren, Lylia Clark and Liliana Boniphant; his sister Debra Kasler (Tim) of Nelsonville; and his close friend Becky Shipley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Donald Platt may be made to Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, Ohio 45764 to help with expenses.
