With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca K. Smith of Nevada, Ohio, who passed away on January 21, 2022 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray G. Hurst and Carlon Hurst (Stone); her brothers, Kenneth, Glenn and Lynn Hurst; and her brother-in-law Tom Cole.
She is survived by: her husband Elwood Smith; her children, Joseph Smith of Nevada, Alainna Smith of Bucyrus and Emily (Damian Goetz) of Upper Sandusky; her grandchildren, Kelton Buckley, Deklan Buckley, Anniala Goetz and Matilda Goetz; and her siblings, Tony Stapleton (Kim) of Blanchester, Patricia Stone of Bucyrus, Lynda Cole (Doug) of Bucyrus, Mike Hurst of Nevada, Ginny Cole of Nevada, Tim Hurst (Annette) of Bucyrus, Missy King (Shawn Green) of Bucyrus, Rodney Hurst of Nevada, Tina Hurst (Justin) of Delaware, Randy Hurst of Nevada and Lacey Massey (John) of Nevada.
