He was predeceased by : his parents, David Armstrong and Myredia Armstrong (Bentley); and his siblings, Roger England and Shirley Mitchell. He is survived by : his wife Mary Armstrong (Decker); his daughter Ronda Anna Armstrong of New Bloomington; his grandsons, Anthony D. Short (Christina Davis), Caleb M. Armstrong and Rodney Alexander Armstrong; his great grandchild Ayden Boggs; and his siblings, Ronald David Armstrong (Jackie) of Marion and Jennifer McCrary (John) of LaRue.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 30, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the LaRue Baptist Church, Pastor Tim Pasma will officiate, friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church, (strict covid precautions will be enforced), burial will follow in the Agosta Cemetery.
