With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice M. Hegemier of New Bremen, Ohio, born in Orrville, Ohio, who passed away on June 18, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Raymond Schrock and Ruth Schrock (Robert); her husband Duane F. Hegemier; her sons, Ron Hegemier (Brigid) of New Bremen and Brad Hegemier (Nancy) of Celina; her grandsons, Aaron Hegemier (Brittany) of New Bremen and Zachary Hegemier (Meaghan) of Kettering; her sister Janet Smucker; her siblings-in-law, Roger Hegemier (Marilyn) and Mary Ellinger (Tom) of Newark; her stepgrandchildren, Rich Oliver, Rob Oliver and Rochelle Oliver; her stepgreat-grandson Palmer Oliver; her daughter-in-law Joan Hegemier (Brad); and also Rodney.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alice M. Hegemier Scholarship Fund at St. Paul United Church of Christ for students enrolled in Christian vocational programs, the Alice M. Hegemier Scholarship Fund at Marion Local School District for students enrolled in programs designed for educators or the New Bremen Emergency Squad.
