He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde L. Howell and Wilma L. Howell (Keack); his son Bobby Donald Howell; his daughter-in-law Brenda Howell; his grandson Andy Makley; and his great grandchild Alivia Fraley.
He is survived by : his wife Janice A. B. Wiehe; his children, Carol Swackhamer (Mike) of New Bremen, Jenine Humphries (Terry) of St. Marys, Rick Howell (Julie) of Botkins, Mark Howell (Teresa) of Wapakoneta, Scott Howell of New Bremen and Kay Makley of St. Marys; and his sisters, Karen Bower of Sidney and Cheryl Eads (Fred) of Wapakoneta. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren.
