Dorothea May Fennick Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2025, at the age of 92, Dorothea May Fennick (New Bremen, Ohio), born in New Castle, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dorothea departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dorothea. Though Dorothea may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her father Harold M. Wright; and her siblings, Harold M. Wright and Jeanne Wright. She is survived by: her mother Dorothea K. Wright (Knobloch); and her children, Kathleen Luedeke (James D.) of New Bremen, Benjamin Fennick, Jr. (A. Joy) of Eufala and Karen Hoobler (Randall J.) of Grand Junction. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Alliance Church (6670 New Bremen, OH 45869). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dottie's honor to Otterbein in St. Marys, Ohio for a future beautification project which will honor the lives of Dottie and Ben Fennick.
