He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Matchett and Effie Matchett; his wife Arlene; and his son John Raymond Matchett. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Matchett (Becky) and James Marvin Matchett (Candy). He is also survived by his five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and his great-great-grandson.
