It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Willard Mathers (New Concord, Ohio), who passed away on May 7, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent William M. Mathers. He is survived by: his parent Ethel Mae Mathers (Lawrence); his wife Janice Irene Mathers (Ross); his daughters, Cynthia L. Hunt (Robert) of Lancaster and Jacqueline S. Steele (Darren) of Ball Ground, GA; his granddaughters, Savannah, Allison Steele and Leah Hunt; and his brother Thomas Mathers (Patricia) of New Concord. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
