He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Ballweg and Esther C. Ballweg (Wenning). He is survived by: his wife Cindy K. Ballweg (Harris) of New Knoxville; his sons, Greg Ballweg of Botkins, Quincy Ballweg (Tiffany) of Botkins and Brandon Ballweg (Katie) of Michigan; his stepchildren, Eric Cotterman of Sidney and Daria Hannahs (Bruce) of St. Marys; his grandchildren, Skyler, Myra, Kailyn, Brently and Andrea; his stepgrandchildren, Brendin, Bentlee, Hunter, TJ, Layla, Lane and Maykla (Will); his stepgreat-grandson Winston; and his siblings, Debra Ballweg of Las Vegas and Douglas Ballweg of Botkins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home (225 W Monroe St, New Bremen, OH 45869). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Redeemer (120 S Eastmoor Dr, New Bremen, OH 45869).
Memorial contributions in memory of Dave can be made to the Church of the Holy Redeemer.
