We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2025, at the age of 92, Richard O. Carney of New Lexington, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Carney (Curly) and Mary Reaver Carney; his daughter Kim Urban; and his sisters, Dodie Howden, Emma Printz, Thelma Watson, Rosie Dahlgren, Alice Starling and Nancy Carney.
He is survived by: his wife L. Jean Carney; his children, Nancy Metzger (Jim) of Lenoir City, TN and Brian Carney (Keena) of Crooksville; his grandchildren, Kylie Jones (Darin), Justin Metzger and Owen Carney; his great grandchildren, Kassidi Calihan, Connor Calihan, Collin Jones and Chloe Metzger; his sisters, Joanne Studer, Sue DeLibera and Rita Nace; and his caregiver Paula Hammer. He is also survived by 3 step grandchildren, 6 step Great grandchildren and 1 step Great Great grandchild.
