He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin J. Riley and Margaret Riley (Landoll). He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Brad (Amy), Brian (Megan), Tara Starr (Richard) and Luke (Riley); his grandchildren, Bria, Rohan, Logan, Finn, Charlee, Gannon and Quinn; his siblings, Jack, Charlie (Suzanna), Cathy (Mike), Geri and Elaine; and his pet Diesel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eastman Funeral Home (200 W Main St, New London, OH 44851). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (18 Park Ave, New London, OH 44851). A burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Clarksfield Cemetery (5151 Zenobia Rd, Wakeman, OH 44889).
Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family in care of Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St. New London, OH 44851, for a memorial scholarship in Joe's honor for a graduating senior, who wishes to continue their education in the trades; or to the church, Our Lady of Lourdes.
