With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Saloma L. Byler of New Lyme, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Saloma may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Yoder and Martha Yoder (Wengard); her husband Dannie B. Byler, Sr.; and her siblings, Sara Bolyard and Gideon Yoder.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Byler of New Lyme, OH, Dannie J. Byler (Cheryl) of Jamestown, PA, Martha May Nipple of Ashtabula, OH and Ernie D. Byler (Dee) of Andover, OH; and her siblings, Ada Druhot of Middlefield, OH, Katie Miller of Middlefield, OH and Elmer Yoder of Middlefield. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
