She was predeceased by : her parents, Sam Patterson and Elsie Cercone Patterson; her son Joshua Stephens; her siblings, Barbara Jaberg and Raymond Patterson; and her niece Renee Jaberg.

She is survived by : her husband Rahim; her son Mark Stephens (Tracie); her grandchildren, Gage (Kendel Henry), Brandon, Tyler (Savanna) and Chanse Stephens; her great grandchild Carson "Toodles" Stephens; and her brothers, Dan (Diane), Ronnie (Sherry) and Sam Patterson. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Saturday, January 16, 2:30 – 3:30 p. m. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required for one's entry and must be worn the entire time in the funeral home, social distancing must also be observed.
