He was predeceased by : his parents, Luther Walls and Gertrude Walls (Fackler); his son Neil Walls; and his son-in-law Michael Spaar. He is survived by : his wife Arlene Walls (Renner) of New Philadelphia; his daughters, Brenda Mizer (Greg) of Dover and Jill Spaar (Erik Stewart) of Florida; his grandchildren, Logan Walls, Drew Walls and Ashley Rader; and his siblings, Gary Walls (Sharon), Shirley Roediger and Sue Johns. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

“I am saddened by the passing of yet another first cousin. I always enjoyed listening to Donnie and his wife, Arlene, as they visited with my parents. My dad shared many of the same interests as Donnie. One main difference was that my dad grew roses as a hobby, whereas Donnie, grew roses as his job. If I listen carefully I think I can hear that slow, deliberate sound of Donnie catching my dad up to date regarding Donnie’s last time he’d been fishing. Prayers for Arlene & their family.
