With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas L. Simmons of New Philadelphia, Ohio, who passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Otis E. Simmons. He is survived by : his mother Sarah J. Simmons (Everett) of Sharon Valley; his children, Courtney Guspyt (Ken), Shilo Simmons (Mabel) and Kyle Simmons (Leisha); his grandchildren, Morgan Bolon (Nick), Taylor, Jordan Spillman, Kielyn, Kohen, Tanner, Everett Simmons, Easton, Payton and Camden Guspyt; his brother Gregory Simmons (Kay); his nieces, Shawnte, Channon and Shana; and his pet Sam.
