It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith L. Leggett of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Uhrichsville, Ohio, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Shinaberry and Lorena Friel Shinaberry; her former life partner Robert J. Parrish; and her sons, Ronald and Philip Parrish.
She is survived by : her husband Walter E. Leggett of New Philadelphia; her children, Thomas Parrish (Karen) of Marion and Sheila Thomas (Wayne) of Piqua; her daughters-in-law, Pat Parrish of Westerville and Sharon Parrish of Port Washington; her stepchildren, Keith Leggett (Lana) of Ashburn, Virginia and Marta Harr (Tom) of New Philadelphia; and her sisters, Ardith Taylor of New Philadelphia and Phyllis Bower (Ron) of Dennison. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; her ten great-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren.
