She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Eugene and Leatha V. Wineman (Lee); her husband Joseph Earl Polen; and her brother Duane E. Wineman (Herta). She is survived by: her children, Chevelle Swartz (Ed), Jenese Weaver (Mike) and Fred Daley (Dodi); her grandchildren, Megan, Brandon, Michael (Jelissa) and Carlee; her great grandchildren, Natalia and Liliana; and her siblings, Richard Wineman, Leatrice Wineman and Ray Wineman Jr. (Patricia). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
