She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wesley and Margaret Cora Thrasher (Brookover); her husband Ed; and her brothers, Jeff and Art.
She is survived by: her children, Laurence "Larry" Bennington (Alana) of New Philadelphia, Melinda Knisely (Scott) of New Philadelphia and Abigail "Abby" Bennington of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Annalie Sandoval, Trinity Bennington, Alexander "Alex" and Allison "Allie" Knisley; and her siblings, Carol Mendoza (Dan), Debbie Smith and William Thrasher (Estella). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory (116 2nd St NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
