She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Space and Despina Pardos Space; her husband Billy Joe Smith; her son Tony Smith; her siblings, Jim, George (Bessie), Pete (Mary Ann), Socrates Space and Jean Space; and her close friend Clara Hutras.
She is survived by : her son Christopher Smith (Barbara) of Pennsylvania; her daughter-in-law Nancy Smith of Dover; her grandchildren, Melissa Stutz (Brent), Stephanie Sayre (Allan), Elizabeth Frengel (James), Katrina Norris (Justin) and Nathan Smith; and her great grandchildren, Jilaine Butler (Greg), Ryan Stutz (Daniella), Emily Stutz, Alec Sayre, Samantha Stutz, Mary, Grady Frengel, Jase and Joel Norris.
