Richard Dean Swaldo Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2024, at the age of 92, Richard Dean Swaldo (New Philadelphia, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Jean Lahmers Swaldo; his son David; and his parents, Eugene Swaldo and Mary Swaldo (Gervasi). He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Switzer (Jim), Deanna Gundlah (Chris) and Lisa Wagoner (Hal); his siblings, Eileen Machan, Gene Swaldo, Bill Swaldo, Frank Swaldo, Charlene Weaver and Gary Swaldo; and also, Emma Jean King (Sonny), Ted Swaldo (Linda) and Cheryl Fickes (Jack). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial gifts be sent to the Quaker Foundation, PO Box 627, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 where they can be used to support scholarships or grants to teachers to enhance classroom instruction.
