She was predeceased by : her parents, William Dale and Grace Dale Whitacre (Wright); and her brothers, William Dale Whitacre, Jr., Steve Lane, Jr. and Sandy.

She is survived by : her children, Angel of Amanda, D. J., Samantha and Scotty; and her siblings, James Whitacre (Rainbow) and Linda Tinney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
