With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sandra Kay Reiser Gowan of New Philadelphia, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Reiser and Marjorie Reiser; her husband James Allen "Jim" Gowan; and her sister Linda Parker. She is survived by: her children, Jay Gowan (Angie) of Chillicothe and Julie McCabe (Bryan) of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Rachel Gowan, Dylan Gowan, Kyra VerHill (Wyatt), Sierra McCabe and Keyshawn Hodge; her siblings, Gene Reiser (Amy), Bill Reiser (Claujean Tan) and Joan Stoner (Eric); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Gowan (Elise) and Dr. Anne Gowan (Lowell Shira).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home (116 2nd St NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Evergreen Burial Park (1520 Delaware Dr SE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663).
Memorial contributions in Sandy's memory may be directed to Dover Alliance Church.
