He was predeceased by: his parents, Terry Swegheimer and Karol Becker Swegheimer; and his brother Tim Swegheimer. He is survived by: his son Jamie Swegheimer of Florida; his brothers, Todd of New Philadelphia and Bill Swegheimer of New Philadelphia; and his granddaughters, Lela and Madison Monroe.
