He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Anderson and Cora Anderson; his son Clarence Rueben Anderson; his siblings, Roosevelt Anderson of Andrew, Gracie Logan, Luther, Mary Ruffin, Lula Scott, Pearline McCoy, Rosa Lee Ruffin, Annie Bell Knox, Beulah Seals and Cora Bell; and his daughter-in-law Angie Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hinkston-Anderson; his former wife Roslyn Arthur; his children, Louis C. Anderson Jr. (Kim Anderson), Johnny Edward Anderson, Brent R. Anderson (Yolanda), Cherle Bell (Stephen), Lisa Stallings (Tony), Thomas E. Hinkston (Andrea) and Michael Louis Hinkston (Lyndsey); his sister Fannie Patterson; and his half-sister Deloise Joseph. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (200 Western Ave, New Richmond, OH 45157). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
