He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar William and Edna Taylor (Klink); his wife Mae Frances; his brother Rocky Taylor; his stepbrother Jerry Taylor; and his brother-in-law Edward Weber.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Ware of Boardman, Geno Taylor (Jennifer) of Ottawa, ON and John Taylor (Alisha) of Newton Falls; his grandchildren, Karissa Taylor, Bruce Ware, Jr. (Breanna), Brandon Ware and Lane Taylor; his great grandchild Giada; his stepbrother Terry Taylor; his sisters-in-law, Claudia Weber and Betty Taylor; and his sibling's children, Chelsea McNeal and William Taylor (Julie).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Gene's memory to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS, 66675-8516.
